“I was excited about the idea of period undies in a true boyshort/trunk but the absorbent part of these undies is just too darn small. I perioded out above the front gusset within 20 minutes and I was just standing at my desk! There's no way I can sleep in these, I'd period right out the back!”
“I've tried every major brand of leak-proof underwear (Knix, Thinx, RubyLove), and all of them leave something to be desired. Boyshort styles in the other brands never have a high enough waist band or a long enough leg, so they ride up or slide down, and they just aren't made for someone with my body shape (I have a mommy pooch in the front and am very bottom heavy). The fabric used in the other brands is usually something that isn't very breathable, the crotch feels bulky in some, they have thick seams, etc. I was hesitant to try these because of how hard it's been to find something that fits, but I'm so glad I did! These are the most comfortable pair I have by far, they don't show through pants because of the length, don't ride up or dig in, the waistband doesn't roll down, and they are a nice, soft material. Some brands feel bulky, but these don't. I wouldn't wear these alone for a period because of the size of the gusset, but they are a great backup for a menstrual cup, super light days and minor bladder leaks. I would love to see these in a longer length, a multi-pack and a lighter color in the future!”

I originally bought them to keep me protected during long work shifts when I can’t drop everything and run to the bathroom, but if I could, I’d buy enough pairs to wear all the time. “I got these right before my period, so I've had a chance to use them already. I have one re-usable pad from Lunapads that I used, and that seemed great. I did wear these during a very light flow day, one where I mostly just need to not-stain my regular undies - and it stained the shorts up in front of the gusset/absorbent material. So, I don't consider these suitable for even the lightest days without adding a pad of some variety.”
