They were perfect for wearing after surgery that involved incisions in both my femoral arteries...no nasty elastic anywhere near my healing scars or interfering with bandages. My only concern is that, if I was wearing them for the leakproof feature, that portion of the brief was farther toward the back than I would find useful for incontinence.”

“As regular underwear, these are great! They’re super soft, as always, and very comfortable. As period underwear there’s much to be desired. The first time I wore a pair of the 4.5” trunks as period underwear I had only planned to have it hold me over til I could get to the store on my way to work when I could get tampons. The little bit that should have been caught in the gusset thing was apparently too high and instead went right through my pants leaving a huge stain in a very visible spot right before a 10 hour day standing in front of people! TomboyX is the only underwear I wear so I absolutely love everything other than these. I did see they updated the design, so I’m hopeful they’ll work better for someone else. Not sure if I would risk spending $32 again on something that might still not work for me.”
