“I bought the power pro to help me to remove my jeep top by myself. I am a 61 yr old female in decent shape. I did remove it myself, but had to put every bit of strength and every ounce of my 162# to lift it. So I order the power unit to make it easier for me to remove. Happy with purchase.”

Use - Super easy to use exactly as detailed in various videos on the site and youtube. I also purchased the powerpro lift -- it methodically lifts and lowers my top safer than I would if I were utilizing the manual features. IMO, its worth the extra $. LOVE, that I can pull my jeep under it in my garage w/o taking additional space. LOVE that I did not have to install some pully system junk in my garage. Super stable moving my lifted top from my driveway into my garage.
Installation - I was surprised that my personal vast tool supply did not have the 8mm, 6mm, and 5mm socket inserts and had to take a bolt of each size to my local Ace Hardware to find what would work. It took me about 4 hours, but I purposely took my time. My cordless drill only got me so far on each bolt connection, I had to hand tighten to complete. I thought that was odd, but maybe it's my drill. Occasionally I needed my 12 year old son's help holding items. I personally struggled with the powerlift pro directions, but eventually I figured out that I had it backwards. My 53year old eyes/mind saw the images and description the other way.
Support - During installation one of the 6b arm holes in the horizontal bar did not line up with the Top Platform assembly. I emailed support pictures. Barry FedEx'd me the entire top (all green items). When it arrived, it even appeared that they double checked the holes before shipping. Fortunately, it was a simple swap of the newly received 6b arm and it fit perfectly... so I did not have to completely disassemble. They may it easy for me to return the problem piece and the other items they sent. Later Barry informed me the piece I returned worked fine for him. Either way, it was great service.”
“What can I say? This is THE BEST solution on the market. It is made incredibly well, looks good and is amazing to turn a 2-3 person job into one where my 5’2” 120lbs wife can do on her own. It makes the vehicle capabilities functional even when I’m not around. There are two things I would recommend:
1) The video YouTube instructions weren’t always clear. I think there are things taken for granted and when there are people (like me) who aren’t handyman inclined, I found it hard. The written instructions were so so. But the customer service was second to none!
2) I personally feel the price should increase and automatically include the power lift. It makes such a difference without having the weight to handle the manual version. Well worth the cost!
Bottom line though is this tool is a game changer. I’ve recommended it to EVERY Jeep owner I know. It is PHENOMENAL! People have said, “But it’s $1K!” Come on, I just spent $55K on a Jeep…$1K shouldn’t be the issue. It is SOOOOOO worth the cost!”
“The price did have me kinda hesitant to purchase the TopLift, but after a long drown out decision making I am so happy I decided to purchase it. Kinda wishing I purchased the PowerPro with it. That might be my next purchase… It is all fun in the sun now. Thumbs
