The Phrozen Sonic XL 4K 2022 is a professional LCD-based MSLA 3D printer. “It did deliver right out of the box. Leveling the bed was an easy task. The test print from Top3DShop came out great. And my larger dental prints look super nice as well. Philip was also of great of help as he consulted me on the best print orientation and it improved my success rate dramatically.”

“I must say that this printer is a beast to work with. Its speed, quality and design are quite impressive. I now create large-scale builds within less than 24 hours of printing time. It has been running nearly all the time since I got it. The quality is evident in the intricate style of its base. The packaging was among the top of the three printers (previous being Elegoo Mars and Anycubic Photon S) I've had. The user manual, training materials are excellent. The only obstacle I had to overcome was setup of my wi-fi and this was due to the fact that my router was using non-english characters. Fixed it and it's working. Highly recommend this printer.”

“For the price, Phrozen Sonic XL 4K has done a great job on the hardware front. It's amazing to have this type of technology at my disposal for that cost. The first resin printers didn't appeal to me due to their size limitations however this one is amazing. Prints can be made in good size with a really high-definition. I've removed one star because the default slicer wasn't fully functional, and it took some time to get my head around it. But the guys at Top 3D Shop recommended Chitubox and Chitubox worked really great. It can handle the basics, slices with ease and offers a lot of options to customize support settings and find optimal orientation. Anyway, I recommend this product.”

“This is my first resin printer but I have some experience with the FDM machines. Went with resin looking for a better level of detail. The Sonic XL 4K was my choice. It is easy to use and produces great results at a fast speed. Mono 4k screen gets the job done. This is vital for my career as a full-time artist. Recommend to those with some experience who want to work with mid-sized resin 3D printers.”

“Hundreds of hours on the device and so far no fails. After finding the settings for my preferred resins, nothing needed to be changed. Both large-sized and smaller prints are of impressive quality. The machine is also very fast. I like the Sonic XL 4K and would happily recommend it to those who have some experience printing with resin. I'm impressed with the level of detail, lack of defects and the build plate being easy to calibrate.”

“This is a flagship device and not for beginners. Large volume, mono LCD screen (which means increased longevity and improved reliability). The speed is also faster than previous generations. The build volume is decently big which offers impressive versatility: you can print a lot of things. It has its drawbacks: cleaning is a chore but this is true for all resin 3D printers. Overall a great machine with an impressive level of quality.”

“I used to dream about owning an affordable bigger resin 3D printer and here it comes. I have been waiting forever for an affordable large scale resin printer. This is a large device with a sturdy build. It's easy to set up and access its parts. I like how the things stick to the platform and the quality of resulting prints. I like overall experience and software. Wi-Fi connectivity is a neat bonus too. Great device!”
