The Phrozen Sonic 4K 2022 is a desktop LCD 3D printer produced by Phrozen — a Taiwanese company renowned for the production of high-quality machines. It is a powerful machine that creates astonishingly detailed models. The Sonic 4K boasts its ultra-high 4K (3840 x 2160) definition at 722 PPI. Besides, it prints at a very fast pace (90 mm/h) and can print a single layer in just two seconds. The main area of application of the Phrozen Sonic 4K 2022, as recommended by the manufacturer, is dental industry. The device can also be used to print other well-detailed products with outstandingly smooth surface finish. The printer can interact with the a 3D model of almost any format and is compatible with ChiTu Box V1.6.5 slicer. The software is optimized to work with SLA/DLP/LCD 3D printers and makes for a simplified printing process. The slicer software also contains pre-made printing profiles for certain dental applications.

“The reason I bought it was mostly due to the 4K resolution and cost. I'm not a heavy user, however I have used about 10 liters of resin up to this point. I had some problems here and there but I am sure it is more due to me learning how to work with Chitubox and optimizing the print settings as I learnt working with this new technology. What I liked: Excellent level of detail! Quiet. Fast. Inexpensive. Well built. What could be better: I experienced layer shifting, the FEP film peeled off on my 10th print. The expected longevity of the LCD screens is around 2000 hours, LCDs seem to be in short supply at the moment, so something worth investing in in advance to minimize downtime.”

“I've had the privilege of being an early user of 3D printing. I am a graduate of FDM printing and I have a lot of knowledge about its basics, but resin 3D printing is something new to me. Coming from an experienced user, I believe this printer is the most user-friendly out of the box machine I've ever used. The prints are having best quality I've ever seen. I'm happy! I'm convinced the technology has finally caught up with what I want to do, which is to print tabletop miniatures that are just as good of quality or better than what I can get in the stores for a fraction of the price. If you're a hobbyist who loves miniatures, purchase it now and you'll never regret it!”

“This is my first resin 3d printer and I thought working with them would be more complicated. But it's simple so far. Great machine, even did some larger prints with it and they still turned out to be awesome. Setting the machine was easy, quick and painless. I think it's a great choice for those who need to produce high-resolutions prints in no time.”

“Awesome machine, its resolution is second to none, and I had no issues. User-friendly design and ease of use help. We use it for our jewelry-making business and received great support on how to set it up with the Bluecast resins. The ChiTuBox software works fine once you get your head around it.”

“I wanted something professional for my first resin printer. The machine does everything I wanted, I had no problems so far (after a few days of use) and the quality of prints meets my expectations. I received training from the support team on how to calibrate the printer, set up the profiles and make my first print. Overall a great machine, even for users with no prior experience.”
