“The machine works great, especially with standard materials such as PLA, ASA, PETG. Here's also some insight into printing with PEEK and ULTEM. We upgraded our machine to print with high-temperature materials. Added insulation, an active heater for the chamber, upgraded the extruder to go up to 500 C, added a liquid cooling loop, upgraded the probe, and the stepper motors to be better suited for high temperatures, etc. The great news is it works, but also adds constant maintenance into the process, e.g. stepper motors overheating, extruder clogging. In other words, it can be done, but we are still figuring out a reliable workflow”
