QT1135 Spindle Bearing Installer is used to install QU40149 Spindle Bearings in 1975-1997 Dana 50IFS and Dana 60 Front Axles with Serviceable Wheel Bearings. Use QT1135 and one of our optional QT1100 driver Handles to quickly and easily install your spindle bearing to the correct depth every time. QT1135 is stepped so there leave space for your small spindle v-seal. USA Made by us here in Montana from domestic steel.

Tech Note 1: Matching Driver HandlesMade for QUAD 4x4/Torque King Bearing and Seal installers with 5/8" center hole. Use 8" for general purpose use, or 14" for deep seated bearing cups such as inner pinion and transmission case. Available in 1" diameter for general purpose use (QT1100 8", QT1101 14" and 1-1/4" diameter for professional use (QT1116 8", QT1119 14").
Tech Note 2: Bearing Removal ToolsYour old spindle bearings can be removed with a QT1270 Spindle Bearing Remover, a blind hole bearing puller or a large punch.
Tech Note 3: Bearing LubricationLubricate your new QU40149 bearings with a quality NLGI #2 Wheel Bearing Grease. Refer to our LG100 Wheel bearing grease Selector for available greases.
Tech Note 4: Spindle Bearing DepthQT1135 installs your Spindle Bearing to the correct depth to allow space for the spindle seal.
Tech Note 5: Seals and Thrust WashersTwo different seal and thrust washer configurations were used to protect the spindle bearing. Dodge, GM, and most Fords use QU40148 rubber spindle V-Seal to protect the bearing along with QU40066 Thrust Washer. Later production Fords use a unitized QU40496 Seal and Thrust Washer
