A very satisfying fiddle that folds flat for travel, pops open for play. An endless array of shapes!6" diameter, durable plastic rainbow-colored rods connected by slightly elastic cords. Made to withstand lots of hands-on play. You can put this one in the dishwasher to sterilize it, but the heat will likely make the straight straws arc.  It will remain a satisfying and interesting-looking fidget, but will be somewhat transformed, and less geometric.Enrich the "sensory diet" of your learners. We have 2 of these in our office. These are well made with bright colors and strong elastic. You can make many shapes without worrying about it breaking because it has good tension. These also hold their shape so it makes a fun centerpiece.

After a few uses, these lose their resilience and simply collapse. I've ordered them twice, hoping that perhaps my first experience was atypical, but the second group (I purchased a total of 12) also collapsed after very little use. It's a shame, because it is visually appealing and fun to flix.

For about 4 months this was a well used item on my desk (I am a psychologist doing psycho-educational testing). One day a five-year-old girl put her feet into and it broke wide open. I guess she needed to expend energy but she didn't push THAT hard. So I am left wondering about the quality. I am purchasing another one to see how it lasts.
