I have a basket of "focus tools" for my students to use during instruction time. This one is chosen every day, but it is the noisiest tool in my basket!

Middle school students sometimes need something to fidget with their hands and the clicking noise helps calm them, also!

I have purchased several of the 'fiddle' pieces for participants to use during training sessions. They really seem to help give people something to do while they are listening to the training. I think it helps them to think and stay engaged in the training.

Great for kids who have trouble concentrating or with self-control. The only downfall is that it is pretty noisy until it gets used a lot so not particularly useful for students during class.
