“The process really covers everything Creating strategic alignment was a real plus for me The way the content is portrayed gives you a practical insight on how to "apply" and not just "learn". The discussion groups offer you a wide range of implementation examples from various industries which really opens up doors you never realized were actually there. “One day after completing my practicum and I'm already applying what I learned to my organization. The CPTM course is the most valuable training experience I've ever had. The structure of doing online module first, followed by practicum, then comprehensive assessment worked incredibly well. The most valuable aspect of the training is the practicum: learn from an experienced instructor and your cohort partners, dive deep into the material and apply it, visit with guest speakers to gain real-world insight, and prepare for the knowledge assessment. “This course increased my knowledge and understanding of how important L&D is. I can now speak to my shareholders and show why it is important and how L&D is not to be taken lightly. “I don't know where to start, therefore I'll start at the beginning of my journey. I had been looking for a training certification program for a couple of years. A long list of programs does not exist. What did exist was going to take a long time to complete. As a transplant to training from an IT background and with years of non-technical training experience in my history, I needed something to help me define my experience in a structured way. Along came the CPTM program. The program gave structure and language to my years of experience. Gold for me was the training process framework and identifying the capabilities of a training manager. Timing and flexibility were important to me and the program matched my needs perfectly. From the self-paced development to the practicum, by the time I took my exam, I was well prepared. The rest was up to me. I also met some wonderful people. I am proud to be a member of the CPTM professional family.”
