The curriculum mirrors the CPTM workbook. The facilitator is highly-educated. The group work coordination needs to be better organized. The instructor should switch the groups around so all participants obtain the experiences from all involved. Those that work together should not be in the same group, as there was group-think involved. The facilitator should not show any bias if they are familiar with individuals in the group. There should be fair round-table questions posed to all participants and ensure all feel welcome, than focusing on familiar individuals in the groups. The group arrangements should be different, ask the students what groups they might be better suited for. Do not assume all individuals in a group will be successful in that group. The exam trial is more difficult than the content reviewed in the practicum.

Completing my CPTM helped me connect my knowledge from my work, bachelors, and masters degrees into a complete package. Stepping into the team lead role for our training department and working towards becoming the manager, my CPTM helped me put a name on the concepts I was using. It build my confidence working with our customers that I know what I am talking about now and how to relay that confidence with a customer. I am starting to build better training support within our business when our prior training department focused only customer training. I continue to find value in my CPTM and look forward to attending the Fall TICE conference offered for free from completing your certification. It's not just a Certification, it's a continued support group and network.

I have been doing engineering and technical training for the past 30 years. I have developed material, acted as a facilitator and managed others doing the same. I have had to learn most of my lessons by a "trial and error" methodology. If only the CPTM Course and certification had been available. I would have avoided quite a few mistakes and pitfalls and have become a better manager much faster. As an experienced training manager, the CPTM classwork allowed me to see why the things that work have worked and why I failed in the past. This class can bring the experience and tactics being used by even the most successful training manager into focus. No matter where a person is on their L&D journey, the CPTM is a must.

This program exceeded my expectations in every way. From the pre-work to the practicum, each experience confirmed that training needs are evolving. Training managers must evolve as well. Personally, I enjoyed the comradery from colleagues addressing a business need in their industry. It confirmed that training is in great hands! Overall, the experience was supportive and provided a safe space to build capability. Once earned, the access to the CPTM network is the cherry on top! I thought it was worth every penny...hope you do as well!

If the program alone was just the WBT and companion pieces it would have been fantastic, but the icing on the cake was the practicum. What I appreciate most about all things Training Industry does, is the level of learning and relationships that occur beyond just the phenomenal programming. The training and practicum together far exceeded my expectations. If anyone is arrogant enough to think they do not have something to learn here, they should attend for that reason alone. I knew I did not know everything about everything but the amount I learned from the content and the cohort just blew me away. Training Industry, you are doing it right! Bravo!

I will be transparent, the e-learning modules are a lot. Tons of reading and it will take a plan and discipline to accomplish all the modules. These are intended to expose you to the entire course. DO NOT cut yourself short on time to complete the modules. The practicum is great. It takes the modules to practical application. This will help any experienced person understand what a real L&D department should be doing. Stop being an order taker.

The entire program did not disappoint. There is so much great information shared throughout the entire program. The combination of pre-work, practicum, and group activities helped solidify my understanding. Whether it confirmed what I am doing is right, learning it for the first time, or course-correcting, I found it to be worth the value and time. Highly recommend!
