“Works perfectly, I'm using it with their USB GPS. Simplify the log and ultimately my personal taxes. Would recommend without any hesitation, but with GPS - manual entry is too easy to forget to log your trips and could drain the battery life.”

“What an incredible app and device! As a business owner there is nothing like the ease of having this device to track my mileage for me automatically. No more logs, gas transactions, etc. Just plug it in and hit the button according to what kind of driving you are doing. Easy importing of data into Quickbooks as well. Anything that keeps me working and not having to spend time inputting and saving paper forms is a game changer for me.”

“Wow, way to turn a skeptic into a believer! I searched for awhile to find a simple mileage app that I could manually enter in data after each trip because I did not see the value in paying for a device to do what I could do myself. Fast forward a few months, now I'm not sure how I managed keeping track of it all. I had a few setup related issues at first, but now all is working as promised and I am loving it. Take from me, you will not be disappointed! It would only be better if it cost a bit less, but I do like it.”

“I love my trip log drive everyday I use it because each day is a little bit of personal and a little bit business. Unfortunately with the crisis going on right now I haven't been using my car but triplog makes it so easy when I do to record my trips I've been looking for something like this for ages.”

“A typical day may involve personal as well as business trips with the vehicle I'm in could be: company, personal, or customer. TripLog drive provides additonal flexibility and a bit more hands-off mentality - removing some worry in the process. Early-on after purchase, I'd had some issues; TripLog response was prompt, but lacked clarifying follow-up regarding the patches that they stated were in the works and when they might happen -leaving me feeling like having a phone present with the app is highly recommended/mandatory. I'd hoped that personal use of the company vehicle wouldn't necessitate having the work phone with app on me - that it'd save the data to the USB stick and upload it on the next work day or upon return from vacation. It's unclear if that issue has been resolved - leaving me feeling like I need to always carry my workphone [with the app] to insure it picks up the mileage and sends it to the cloud. This seems to keep me from having issues. So far, I've had few issues and things work better than before having Triplog drive. The one issue I did have involved several hours of my time recreating the business use of my company vehicle over several days route/log manually in TripLog which will need to be provided to my employer later this year; otherwise, I'll be responsible for reimbursing my employer for the taxable benefits. Perhaps Triplog can speak to how their USB stick handles this since we spoke last. I was told that this was being adressed, but w/o assurances that it will save the data on the stick for a period of several days and then upload it to the cloud, it's not worth risking leaving my work phone home. That said, I'm very happy with the purchase overall and their response time. I'd simply ask them to provide a more thorough response on its current capabilities.”

“Like it, it can track my mileage even if my phone is not with me or if someone else use my car. Next time the Trip Log Drive connect to my phone through bluetooth it transfer all travels informations. I got one in each of my cars. Yes i do recommend it.”

“Pros - Super Easy to setup, plug into car USB, pair with phone app once and off you go. - Automatically connects once vehicle has power without requiring you to do anything - works discreetly in the background, has made tracking a lot less tedious. - Staff were friendly and helpful with my international order and trying to reduce costs (shipping etc.) Also received some bonus months of service with hardware purchase. Cons - I have had a couple of trips measured imaccurately or not at all, sometimes the GPS in areas I go isn’t perfect but I’ve just messed around with the app settings a bit to rectify (speed limit, naming locations etc) - Pricing for an international buyer was very expensive. - My issues are more so with the app specifically the manual trip calculations seem to be dependent on google or Apple maps and can be inaccurate. Have had issues with some settings sticking, entering ird rates for NZ, the tedious reporting process from within the app and sometimes encountering weird sync issues - which the awesome team are very open to feedback on to find solutions. Albeit I am still a satisfied customer and would def. recommend purchasing if you track a lot of mileage.”
