“So I mistakenly put the year 2023 on the name plate, which was supposed to be 2022. I would assume this has probably been done several times before, as the orders always take place in the following year. I take full responsibility for the mistake, but if I were running the company I'd be sending out courtesy emails to any of the "2023" orders just to double check before processing. Or perhaps have some kind of pop-up on the order screen asking for confirmation of year. Obviously Trophy Smack's play is to simply take those extra orders and money. Otherwise, happy with the product.
Update: I was contacted shortly after my initial review and a replacement was sent to me, free of charge. Excellent customer service to resolve this issue so quickly. I would still recommend some kind of system to try and catch these errors before orders are placed so that both parties are saved time and money. But I can't say enough about how quickly TrophySmack resolved my issue (and I wasn't even asking for a replacement). Thanks so much.”

Hi Adam,
Good day and that you for your review.
Upon checking in your order, yes you did provided the year 2023.
And how we do orders is that we engraved exactly what is being provided on file.
But of course, we also consider some orders having mistakes or typo errors.
We did not receive any emails from you about your order.
If you had emailed us right away, we could have sent you a replacement as a one-time courtesy.
No worries, it is not too late for us to do that. We will send you a replacement for 2022 nameplate.
YEAR: 2022
TEAM NAME: The Gators / SHOW ME YA TD'S
OWNER NAME: Dan Bielby / Dave Lavey
Once received, will you be willing to update your review?
We will greatly appreciate it.
Thank you!
