“I received my 8 lb box of sapote fruit.
I had never had them before and I cut two of them open right away only to notice they were fibrous and dry inside. After waiting a couple of days the fruits began to soften and ripen. Now I have 10 sapote all ripe at the same time so I decided to bake a sapote bread. Using a recipe for banana bread I substituted the banana with sapote and man is it delicious. I was very surprised at how dark and decadent the bread is.
Absolutely delicious.”
