“Brian (and his team) were absolutely phenomenal throughout the entire process. I discovered Brian by searching for the Teacher Next Door program. I was skeptical at first, because I have a hard time trusting people in general, much less a stranger (albeit a professional) I found on the Internet (and someone who lived across the country). But from that initial conversation, Brian impressed me with his abundant knowledge and expertise, his skillful ability to explain complex ideas and processes in a way that made sense to a first-time home-buyer, his passion for his work (helping people), his respectful attitude, and his personable nature. I never felt pressured in any way. Brian was always there to offer advice, talk through various scenarios in detail but ultimately respect my decision, advocate for me, and cheer me on. I was hesitant about buying a home because of all the unknowns, but Brian helped me navigate the process in a way that broke tasks into simple steps that ultimately moved me towards purchasing my new home, on my terms. He was always only a text, email, or phone call away. He also went out of his way to keep me updated as things progressed, and he continuously explained things so I could make informed decisions and feel confident about next steps.
When I needed to walk away from my first offer, Brian was understanding and supportive. When an obstacle came up with my homeowners insurance policy, Brian and his team were on top of things. They worked literal magic to address any issues so I could close on my originally-scheduled date. Brian also has several contacts in different related fields that he can work with as needed to address issues. With the homeowners insurance problem, Brian was able to connect me with another professional who could save me a significant amount of money every month. Overall, the level of gratitude I feel cannot be put to words. Sometimes people are nice and helpful when things are rolling along smoothly, but they show a nasty side when problems arise; that was definitely not the case here. Brian and his team were professional, effective, communicative, and beyond helpful even when there were unexpected bumps in the process. It is clear that Brian and his team care about people, and that mindset colors every conversation and action. Brian earned my trust, and I am so glad I took a chance on him. He did not disappoint, even once. I love my new home, and it would not have been possible without Brian and his team. I cannot recommend him enough.”
