Now about the pruners. They are nice enough but in no way will they ever cut 26mm, they will open that far but anything after about 15mm will become a struggle, I was cutting Laurel, Hawthorn and Ash all green. I have fairly large hands, do a lot of gardening and in my 70th year have done a fair bit of pruning. They are a little on the small side for me. The coating on the blade came off within the first hour but the blade seems sharp enough. They are that said quite nice to use and will be ok providing the cuts are not too big. I think they will last a while but I would not necessarily buy an identical replacement pair.
