Very happy with the installation so far. Easy to follow instructions which took me a few hours (while working from home). Be careful removing the OEM base bushings, my front right bolt must have been crossthreaded from the factory, the other 3 came out without issue. Torqued down tight so it still feels secure, took a few seconds to find 5th and we were off!

Got my Acuity Short shifter installed in about two hours. Definitely the best mod I’ve made to my car so far. Don’t hesitate. Order it now!

Shifter is stiffer than OEM but you can literally 2-step into the next gear quickly

Expedite shipping; it was everything that was described on the shifters sales page. Being Labor Day and whatnot everyone had the shifter on sale and still Two Step's pricing was the cheapest!

After I parted ways with my Fiesta ST and its totally-upgraded shifter (cable bushings, short shift plate, and short shift lever) in 2019, I was sorely missing that quick and solid shifting experience I became so accustomed to. Don't get me wrong - the stock Si shifter is pretty good as far as factory shifters go but I can easily say that the shifting action in my Si with this kit is superior to my ST. I've paired this with the Acuity shift bushings, and it's like shifting on rails. I always describe it as being like working a bolt-action rifle. Minimal slop, more adjustment than you can shake a stick at (Or perhaps not - pun intended), and the install is not very difficult when following the Acuity install guide, although installation can easily take at least an hour and a half. Perhaps the trickiest part of the install is removing the cables from the factory shifter, but once you wrap your head around it, no problem. But this shifter! Worth every cent, don't regret it a bit. I kept the gate width spacing close to stock, and went for lowest knob height and maximum throw reduction. What a treat! Sure, the shifting effort has increased but not terribly so, and shifting into gear is so quick and positive that it inspires confidence. I was a bit worried I might grind gears now and again while becoming accustomed to this shifter, but after a few weeks I have yet to do so and I doubt that I will. The car should have come with a shifter this solid!
