“Should have got hondata flashpro instead. If you want a quick pre-made tune, “upload and go” ktuner is the way to go. But if you wanna get into a detailed tune and change everything to your liking, hondata is better. Flashpro has live tuning and ktuner doesn’t, unless you spend more. Overall ktuner wasn’t bad for me, just found out later that flashpro was better for my situation.”
“I installed a PRL high volume intake on my ‘18 accord 2.0T and ran my car out of 87 octane replacing with 93. I then locked the ktuner to my vehicle and installed tunes on the device from my computer. I then flashed the ktuner stg 2.1 tune to my car while hooked up to a battery charger. Unfortunately it had been raining all day so wasn’t great for testing performance but I took it out anyway. Right away I could hear the turbo more. It seemed to be spooling faster and was loud under acceleration. I only heard it before with the PRL intake once releasing the throttle after accelerating. I could tell a decent improvement in throttle response, acceleration, turbo lag, etc in normal mode. Again, it was very wet and still raining so traction was non-existent. I switched the car to sport mode and a huge difference could be felt over stock. I thought the car was mean before. Aggressive is how I would describe this car now. I still need to take it out on a dry day but it was impressive even struggling with traction. The car revs very quickly now and lacs the initial lag the factory settings had. I have not mounted it in the car yet as I don’t know where I want it yet. It is heavy and cased in metal. I will say I just got this car used with nearly 100k miles on it and I’m sure this isn’t the best upgrade for the motor in terms of longevity. I’m coming from same model in a hybrid that was totaled and I’ve never had a “quick” car but the accord seems rather quick to me. Hopefully i can be happy with the stage 2 for a while to save the engine the extra stress of say the Phearable stage 3. Anyway, would definitely recommend for the 10th gen accord 2.0T. Also, all my safety systems didn’t pan back out until I had turned the car off and back on twice. They didn’t fix themselves after a few hundred feet in the car like after unplugging battery.”
