“Ok, super easy install once you get the factory intake removed which is a big pain in the ace. Watch some YouTube videos on how to get the factory unit removed as it doesn’t come out with ease and is very frustrating. Like I said, easy to install. It comes with new push rivets for the cold air scoop as the factory ones snapped during removal. There’s a big improvement in engine/turbo sound after install. You get a nice turbo spool “whoosh” and deep growl from the motor. The turbo whoosh is after throttle is released under acceleration. The growl is heard under acceleration. The turbo can be heard much more loudly under acceleration and after releasing throttle with ktuner installed just fyi. It sounds awesome. You can maybe tell a little improvement in throttle response and acceleration with factory tune. I think it adds something like 4 hp and 11 alone over stock. The kruner seriously wakes up the car though. Go with both like me!”
“Definitely notice better throttle response, and smoother power delivery, and you hear the turbo spool and the whooshes, but not as loud as you think, but the sound is there, K&N has the loudest intake I’ve heard and owned for these cars, but IAT temps stay down the best with the PRL, even better than the mishimoto, I’ve owned it.”
“Very well packaged and straightforward install. Definitely gives a “woosh!” And makes a difference immediately. Even bigger difference with a Ktuner basemap. Only downside to the Ktuner + HVI + tsp tune package is that the tune is for civics only and not for the accord. The ktuner basemap is fun on its own, putting you at about 300hp with the intake combined, it’s no slouch. Super happy.”
