The Intercooler itself is much thicker and slightly taller than the factory intercooler and feels bulletproof compared to the fragile stock intercooler. PRL did a great job on the finish and welding on overall I'm glad to see the piping is also noticeably bigger than stock.”
“The PRL FMIC and charge pipe kit is definitely what I would call a required upgrade. The stock FMIC heat soaks rapidly and just can't keep up with even slightly aggressive driving. IAT while in motion regularly hovers around 10F to 15F over ambient (vs 25F or higher on stock FMIC), and I figure that unless I go to the track for several laps I'm going to be hard-pressed to get this thing to heat soak. Very impressive.
The install procedure is not terribly difficult, but will easily take a few hours if you're taking time to do everything correctly. Fit and finish is impeccable. Highly recommended.”
