My UBCO Utility Bike was delivered in May 2023. It’s now June 2024. I have 74.39 hours recorded over roughly seven months. Because I live in Minnesota, USA and it’s too cold to ride the UBCO in winter. 95% of my hours are from gravels roads. 5% off road. I added mirrors because most of my hours are on a road. See picture. I added a rear basket, which makes carrying tools and groceries easier. Suggest UBCO sell baskets designed for the bike. They are extremely useful. See picture. I added a drawstring backpack filled with various length straps and bungee cords. Straps and bungee cords are used for tie downs. The backpack is used to carry fragile items. Keep it folded up under the seat. Again, suggest UBCO sell drawstring backpacks filled with various length straps and bungee cords. See picture. Tires on the UBCO Utility Bike are off road. When its time, I’ll replace with on/off road tires. Better fit for my use. I use the UBCO for yard work at my lake home, run errands into town (gravel roads), and ride to my neighbors (gravel roads). Because its battery powered it’s quiet, and my neighbors appreciate that. I use the UBCO daily and will buy another when time to replace.

I purchased an UBCO 2x2 2.1kw bike exactly one year ago. So far, I have been very happy with it overall. My use is mainly utility/recreational around our property. It is far quicker to hop the UBCO on and go check a fence or help the neighbors with an escapee horse than our SXS or jeep, and at no cost for fuel/oil/filters as we have solar to charge it. The near-zero need for maintenance compared to a 2/4 stroke gas bike is a massive time saver as well.--It's one less thing to keep up with on the farm with other constant projects. The performance is pretty decent as well. A friend of mine has as Surron e-bike that is pretty quick, but the utility of the UBCO with it's cargo racks and added panier frames makes it the clear choice for WORK. I can easilly carry a chainsaw, fuel, other tools and a rifle to pop out for trail maintenance on the back 40 and navigate tighter areas that the SXS would be too wide for. The 2WD really shows its value in this respect, and it has the ability to haul more weight than most other e-bikes in it's price range. In eco mode, the Surron beats it in speed; but this is a work bike primarilly. Cutting down the trails for recreation is a blast and having storage on board for water, first aid, parts, etc. is a big benefit. All this being said, a BIG seling point for me was the UBCO servcie. Their team was VERY communicative, and assisted me in the purchase process. They were also considerate enough to work with me on pricing/promos for service members (this was purchased as post-mobilization present for myself, and I love it). Deliver, packaging, assembly and ease of use getting it going were all flawless. The ONLY complaints I could potentially note with the UBCO are that you seem to have to have the app on your phone to turn ON the headlight. I also get an overcurrent fault on the rear moter when the 2.1kWh battery is over 90% charge; and this fault shuts off the rear motor. Turning the bike off/on clears it; and this only happens about every other time I charge it fully then take it out on a run. If you can spring for the larger battery over the 2.1kWh model, DO IT. We have a lot of rough trail, hills and some mud on our property and it tends to drain the battery quickly. I wish I had gone with the larger battery for more run time; but having to return to the shop on 3% power to charge it up after a day of work or a couple continuous hours riding trails is not the worst thing. Overall, I'd give the bike a solid 8.5/10 due to the headlight oddity, fairly regular overcurrent fault, and it's overall performance. UBCO would get a 10/10

I like my 2x2 work bike. I use it mostly on the farm with an occasional trip to the mountain. The rear rack was a little large for me so I removed it and zip tied the front rack on the back of the bike. I zip tied a small regular bicycle rack to the front and added a molle pouch under the seat and another molle pouch on the frame above the battery. I wish it had some type of battery indicator other than the app. Sometimes I run the battery down before I realize it. I really like the hub drive motors. If were to do it over I would get the larger 3.1 kwh battery. It is a great utility bike.

I have had my 2x2 since early 2022 and this thing is a workhorse. I initialy got the bike to have an easier way to get around town than my stuborn 1972 Honda CB bike, but I really became a believer when I got the chance to get off road. The 2x2 makes navigating forrest roads and trails a rush and can cover a ton of ground without affecting the environment around me. I have had very minimal issues with the bike despite putting it through some pretty serious terrain and the support team baseed out of Eugene, OR has always been incredably helpful. I would highly recomend.

Great product that works as advertised. Love that it is American made. Haven’t had any issues to judge customer service, but the sales team was great. Love my 2x2 work bike and am definitely a proponent of this product.

Works as advertised, great range and battery life. Perfect speed for using in the woods and while I’m a speed freak, I do feel any faster on this platform would be too much. It’s very fun as is and extremely useful as a tool around my 31 acres of wooded single track trails. My only improvement comment would be some sort of signal that the bike is off. It has an audible on beep, something for off would be nice.
