“As a Realtor® I work in a rural area and cell service is pretty poor. My Wilson Booster has allowed me to make and receive calls in areas that I never would be able to make in the past. There are still areas with dead spots, but still a great improvement. I can usually go from 1 bar to 3 or 4. We all know what that means. In this business if customers can't reach you right now they often go to another agent. “I was a little hesitant spending this much on something for my vehicle, but considering how much time my family and I spend in it, thought it was probably worth the investment. I've experienced much better call quality and really no dropped calls. Other family members are able to use their phones at the same time, which is one reason I didn't go with the Wilson Sleek. Only downside is that if you're sitting in the way back of the SUV, you don't get quite as good of signal as the driver, passenger and first row of seats. “I’m a sales rep. for a medical devices company and have to drive all over the northeastern US and that also involves me talking a lot on the phone. Unfortunately, I have probably 8 to 10 dropped calls a day and when it’s your business, that’s a really bad thing. I have both a 3G MiFi hotspot and my cell phone so I knew I needed something that would support multiple devices which lead me to the Wilson 801212 in-vehicle kit. Now instead of 8 to 10 dropped calls a day, I might get a handful in an entire month! It has completely changed the effectiveness of my business. I’m giving it 4 out of 5 stars because the phone does need to be within about 12 to 18 inches of the inside antenna for it to really be effective. Since I always use my bluetooth headset anyway, I mounted the antenna on the side of the center console where I keep my phone and MiFi and it hasn’t been a problem. It would always be nice to have more power though. It’s a great system and many of the other sales reps in my company are buying these after hearing about my experience! *This review is from the previous version of this product.”
