The system is awesome. Many boosters won't let all cell phones pick up their signal, this one does. Highly recommend this product.

Purchased another booster and it would not work at all, this one worked in the first place I put it. Before, we were barely able to send a text. Can make and receive calls great now. Shipping was also fast!

I was hopeful this would work but it seems my apartment does not face directly enough onto the cell tower, thereby making it impossible to boost a signal. I am sure the product is fantastic as long as you have clear and unobstructed views toward a cell tower. I just hope I am able to get a refund as this was a lot of money for me. :-(

I always say I’m going to write a review but never have, until we plugged this thing in and all of the pain associated with dropped calls melted away! We recently moved to Colorado Springs, ranked the second worst city for cell phone reception by Time magazine. Of course, our new house didn’t get any signal indoors and that just wasn’t going to work. With this device turned on, we get 3 to 4 bars throughout our living room and kitchen and two bars in the bedrooms, making our phones usable everywhere! My daughters are so excited to be able to use their phones in the house again and I’m excited that I don’t need to go outside to have a reliable signal, especially in the snow! I give it four out of five stars since it would be nice to have more range but it’s good enough for us! *This review is from the previous version of this product.

You would think with all of the advances in technology, dead zones would be a thing of the past. Turns out that some of these technology advances which make homes more energy efficient are secretly working against our cell phone signals. This is exactly what’s happening in my house. We tried a microcell which plugs into our Internet but that created as many problems as it solved. So we returned that and set out to find a better solution. When I received the Wilson 801247 SignalBoost DT I was skeptical. I unpacked the box and my first thought was that the plastic parts seemed like they could be a weak part of the system, especially for the external antenna. There are many ways to protect something without interfering with the signal, but it’s something to keep in mind if you plan on putting the antenna outside and have harsh weather. I called Wilson’s customer service to inquire about it and they said they components are tested to ensure they can survive for years in even the toughest conditions so we’ll see if that turns out to be true. After checking the signal at each of the windows in my house, I found that one with the strongest signal and decided it seemed strong enough to attempt the window installation which will also protect it from the elements. So I mounted the “outside” antenna in the holster at the very top of the window and ran the included coaxial cables to the other side of the house where the signal is the worst and to keep as much separation as possible between the antennas. After a few tries, the amplifier turned on with a green light indicating that there was no interference. For the ultimate test, I walked to the other side of the room, about 10 feet away from the indoor antenna and turned on my phone to find that I had 5 bars where I typically had one. I made a phone call and it sounded crisp and clear. As a test, I walked down the hall all the way to the end and although the bars had fallen to only two, I still have a clear conversation with no dropped calls. We’re very pleased with the way this signal booster has performed and have recommended it to everyone else I know with signal problems. It’s important to know that this is not really a whole house signal booster. The DT stands for Desk Top so it’s really meant for one or a few rooms. In summary, the only thing I found disappointing was the quality of the plastic construction. If you’re worried about weather issues you could always look into weatherizing the antenna. *This review is from the previous version of this product.

I got this for my home office and when I got it installed on my desk, both my phone and my MiFi experienced immediate improvement and was pretty happy until I left my office and the signal dropped off. I was hoping it would improve the signal on the entire main floor but there doesn’t seem to be enough power. *This review is from the previous version of this product.

Arrived on time which is always nice. The instruction manual is very detailed and made it easy to understand how to install the system. I chose to install the outside antenna on an existing pole on my roof giving it more than 15 ft of vertical separation from the inside antenna. Once it was all hooked up, I had a flashing green light and after waiting the recommended 15 minutes, everything was working perfectly. While sitting 10 feet away from the inside antenna, I get 3 bars but more importantly, I can make and receive calls without them dropping! *This review is from the previous version of this product.
