Firstly I would like to say that the help we recd. from Jeff Morin was exceptionally good. Top marks to Jeff! Prior to the purchase of the mod. 471104 we had only a very weak 1 bar cell phone signal outside our home ( surrounded by trees and hillsides . Inside our home the signal was almost zero. After installation we now have 2 to 3 bars on the 4G LTE Network and after 12 years can connect to the Internet etc. We did not use any of the available pole mounting assembly options but made our own brackets etc and attached the outside antenna to a short post which in turn we attached to the gutter at the rear of our house. ( no roof climbing or holes in the roof shingles involved ). For reference apart from the brackets which we made ourselves the misc. fittings were readily available at our local Lowes store. Having only one service provider in our very rural area we use a Verizon MY FI Hotspot as the 'interface' for our newly acquired IPAD. So far the total system works great! Several of my nearest neighbors are already considering a 'system' since they are also without access to cell or internet availability.

The WeBoost 4G-X is operating as advertised. I bought a 2 story home with a basement in a heavily wooded area in Warrenton VA. The Cable companies (i.e. comcaset & Verizon) would not give me service due to my distance from the main road. I need cell & internet service. The only cell signal I receive is from AT&T. I get 2 bars outside the house and from no service to 2 bars IN the house depending where I stand (NO service in basement). With the 4G-X, I am now able to harness the AT&T signal from my rooftop and channel it down to the basement where I need internet for part of the day. With the 4G-X i'm now able to get online and stream videos without buffering in my basement. the signal gives me from 3 to 5 bars depending on my distance from the INdoor antennae. The only negative is that the signal is not strong enough to go through walls and give me a boosted signal on my 1st floor. my signal on the 1st floor is the same as without the Booster. My next step is to buy an additional "4G-X" Indoor antennae with cable, and attached it with a "splitter" and toggle to the booster and run the 2nd antennae to the 1st floor and toggle the signal depending where I need the signal. This is the price i pay for tranquility in the woods. The Wilson Electronics guys explains it like this: - " if you whisper into a microphone, the whisper is amplified but it would still be low; if you scream into the same microphone the output will be louder". essentially, this is the same; the signal reaching my house is not strong, so the booster does a great job of channeling the outside signal to where i need it, the output strength of the booster is still limited in the strength need to go through floors and walls.

Uber was very prompt and helpful in the initial process of selecting a kit for a critical situation where I really needed to get from zero connectivity in the house and very limited even outside. Happily their support was able to get me to a very satisfactory result with strong 4G service within the house which will allow me to work remotely which was the goal.

We tried this repeater from a remote area in Upstate New York. It has definitely helped with cell phone reception, and for this reason we will be keeping it. Internet access via smartphone was weaker and less reliable but still better than without the repeater. It۪s a tough area, so I appreciate that the booster is literally up against the elements. I۪m giving 4 stars instead of 5 due to relatively high cost (about $1100) including optional۝ mounting bracket and surge protector, neither of which are really optional.
