“This is kind of a long review, so I apologize in advance, but I wanted to share my experiences with anyone who is thinking about either going this Cellphone-Mate product or with the better known Wilson brand. I have a fairly large, two story home in the country. Not incredibly far from town, but also not close enough to have streetlights and plumbing. I'm also on the edge of a coverage area for most carriers, which means my family and I drop calls from time to time, the phone sometimes never rings, and more. It's basically just a constant aggravation. I had heard about cell phone repeaters from a friend who was visiting from out of town, and decided to do a little research on them. Honestly, I was a little skeptical, but decided to be open-minded and see if one of these systems would help me. After hours of research, I had basically narrowed down my choices to the Wilson brand of repeaters, but the powerful amplifier that I needed was a bit more expensive than I really wanted to pay. I called up UberSignal and talked with the support people there for probably half an hour about my situation and how I wanted to go with Wilson, but that it was a bit too expensive for my tastes. They recommended a new brand of repeater from Cellphone-Mate that was a bit more inexpensive, but was comparable or sometimes better, than Wilson. I decided to give the cellphone-mate repeater a try (since I could always return it), and ordered it. After spending a couple of hours on Saturday afternoon installing the system, I turned it all on, and my jaw dropped. I was all of a sudden getting 4 to 5 bars on my phone, and honestly thought it was a false reading. I made some phone calls, had friends call me, and browsed on the web...all crystal clear and fast. Amazing, amazing stuff. I would go with Cellphone-Mate again in a heartbeat, but hopefully I won't have to for a long, long time. *This review is from the previous version of this product.”

“I am very pleased with the results from this product. I had no service inside the house, and very little outside. Purchased this kit on the recommendation from the support people, and had a handy friend install it for me. Now I get 4 and sometimes 5 bars in the house and have completely gotten rid of the landline. I hope this helps. *This review is from the previous version of this product.”
