“Great brush action and so far battery is very good. I like it. I would prefer a better on/off switch (a bit of a fiddle sometimes to find, maybe a raised section would help) and also the case is flimsy and nowhere near as good as my old philips case with charging port. It doesnt seem to hold the spare heads so well in either orientation but overall I’d recommend this brush”

“This purchase was disappointing and I wouldn’t recommend this toothbrush at all. I had the original electric toothbrush and bought one for all the family (5). I also gave them as presents. This Sonic pro is like putting an angle grinder in your mouth. There is nothing at all pleasant about the experience except when it’s finished. I’m sorry I didn’t get the original toothbrush. It’s completely normal to experience some tickling or discomfort at first when using a sonic toothbrush, especially if you’re transitioning from a manual or traditional electric toothbrush. Our Sonic Pro toothbrush is designed by dentists with sensitive teeth and gums in mind. While it might take a little while to get used to, it is safe to use even if you have sensitivity, and it usually becomes more comfortable after a few uses. We recommend starting with the sensitive setting, which is the gentlest option and helps you acclimate to the sonic technology. You can gradually move to other settings if you feel comfortable, or continue with the sensitive setting if that works best for you. “I purchased the Sonic Pro 3 months ago after my Oral-B packed up. I was intrigued by the sonic technology over the oscillating but realised quickly the oscillating type is my preferred option. I always find myself having to start the brush after the 2 minute cut-off as I haven't finished brushing and my teeth never feel as clean with the Sonic. I have ordered a new Oral-B!”

“I've had it about two weeks, so far so good. Battery seems decent. Bristles are a little soft, would have preferred them firmer. Also, would have better if the charger wasn't only USB 3.0.”

“We have used electric toothbrushes for baby years, including Oral-B and Phillips Sonic. This uses the same cleaning action as the Sonic system, leaving teeth feeling clean and refreshed. With two of us using the brush it lasts well over a week between charges, which is somewhat less than we'd expected. It lacks the digital timer displayed on the top Oral-B system, which is a significant loss. Overall, pleased - but the key tests are battery life and reliability.”
