“Very satisfied with my new lampshade. The customer service was excellent. I originally ordered through Amazon and received a shade which wasn't the right fit (My error). I returned it with a return postage fee and then re-ordered a better fitting shade directly through Upgrade Lighting with excellent results.”
“We were having a hard time finding replacement silk shades for some antique floor lamps which used an UNO fitter. The company that originally made them no longer makes UNO shades and nothing else we found even came close to the size, shape or look of the originals.
While these shades from Upgrade Lights are not a perfect match and don't have the delicate edge trim of the originals or the slubs of the original shantung silk , they were one-tenth the cost of having the worn out shades remade, so it was a no-brainer.
They do look very nice and are well made. If we ever happen to come across shades that are closer to the originals, we'd probably buy them, but at this point we're not spending any morte time looking!”
