“The cart. I had that I returned for a rebuild was a high output cart. The one I received in return was not. I have conversed with Peter L. and he says it is the same but my ears say otherwise. I will have to "gain up" my Manley Chinook phono stage (I bought from Upscale) or turn the volume substantially higher for comparable volume. The cart cover with the Soundsmith is very cumbesome. In attempting to use it I broke the cantilever (again) and have returned it to Soundsmith for repair - again.”
