I'm using them in a BHK Signature preamp. Before they even burned in they were my favorite tubes in this preamp. The midrange texture and realism is remarkable. In fact, I like them so much that I'm ordering a spare set

I initially wasn't positive that a tube change would really alter the sound of any system all that much, especially one like mine that is running the tube through a hybrid solid state amp, but wow was I wrong. I was looking to extend the lower end of my setup, as I found mine was a little dry on bass with the EH 6922 that came stock, so I went looking at EQ's and other remedies for the issue before finally coming here looking for a potential tube swap. This thing really gives the low end some life, and as an added bonus really upped the sense of urgency on percussion. In general the sound has an added crispness that I wasn't getting from the EH tube. I'm extremely happy with what this little guy could do for my system. As a reference I'm running from a JDS OLDAC to a Cavalli tube hybrid, with Hifiman HE-4XX's as the cans.

I just received my Amperex 7308 tube today. I came home at lunch to install and give it a chance to warm up. I'm now listening 6 hours later, This tube is awesome!! The bass definition and extension has improved substantially. It sounds like I've added a good subwoofer. Soundstaging is excellent and has just the right amount of treble energy and air. I'm listening to a piano trio now. Female vocals will be next. This is a perfect match with my Cifte 12au7 (my preamp complement is four 12au7 and one 6dj8/6922 or 7308). Thanks for your help guys!!

These tubes added noticeably more transparency to the top end and greater depth of field. The bass was more believable like live base with a nice punch to it. Great tubes!!!

My english is not fluent. So it's not easy to describe my feeling. I've changed my Tesla with a pair of 7308 amperex gold pin on my EAR DACUTE and the result outperforms what I could expect. More airy, stronger bass, there is more weight on notes… In France we use to say "more meat around the bone". Understand thelistening is very pleasant and wins in natural. Now I would like to compare with telefunken PCC88 :)

I use my Aune T1 for my DAC with Spotify running a pair of Klipsch KG 5.5's with Titanium Diaphragms. This tube is a huge improvement over the stock tube and is a great deal for $60. As others have mentioned, the sound stage is holographic with incredible detail and nuance while still delivering a smooth response with no harsh sibilance. Once warmed up, it literally makes the speakers disappear. Klipsch speakers are very sensitive to any flaws in your sound system chain and with this upgrade you are vastly rewarded. Upscale audio shipped very quickly and the website has detailed info on what grade etc to buy which is something I appreciate.

I replaced the stock tube in my Peachtree Nova125 which is driving Totem Arro speakers (w/REL sub). The addition of the Amperex tube has made a significant difference. Prior to the upgrade, I enjoyed a vast sound stage, punchy bass (even prior to the addition of the sub) and nice highs. With the Amperex, I still enjoy all of these attributes, but now the sound is way more cohesive. The midrange is much more prevalent now and I'm hearing details in the recordings that were not there prior to the upgrade. Well worth the modest investment.
