“Sounds great right out of the box with Focal Utopias plugged directly into headphone jack. Lightning DS app works well for streaming Tidal and managing playback. Paired with Feliks Audio Euphoria headphone amp and the Utopias are really singin' now. Currently loading the hard drive with CDs and Hi Rez files. The staff at Upscale guided me the whole way, thanks for a great experience!”

“Ive only just begun to explore all the options this component has to offer but it has exceeded my expectations thus far. I just learned of a firmware upgrade that will really put the Altair over the top in terms of functionality. Can't really beat it at its price point.”

“I have mixed feelings about the Altair G1. First, I thought the 2T hard drive would have been installed in an almost $3k device. The idea that there was no remote control made me disappointed. I don’t wish to use my tablet or phone to control the G1. I haven’t been able to set up the Wi Fi properly. I am strictly using Bluetooth. I just had surgery a couple of weeks ago. I haven’t been able to dedicate time to figure the streamer out properly. I did receive a previous email from your company asking my thoughts. I explained my difficulties. I never received a reply back. I figured that you wanted a positive feedback and I didn’t feel positive about this product. If I would start over, I wouldn’t have spent the money on the Auralic. I was/am using the Oppo Sonica DAC Previously. It is a much easier product to use. David Mamrak”
