“Compared to the Primaluna, I noticed the mid range is a little more pronounced and the vocals, guitar, cymbols is more enjoyable where as before it was harsh now that I have heard the Brimars.”

“Using these Brimar tubes in the PrimaLuna Evo 400 preamp make a nice improvement over the stock tubes. Sound is richer and more musical, very detailed with a bit less bite, and perhaps slightly less extension, on the very top end. I'm still putting some hours on them before making final decisions, but they sound good already at 10 hours of run time.”

“These tubes are outstanding! Replaced the stock new EH 12AU7 that came in my Leben CS600X. The Leben sounded great with the originals, but the Brimar are a noticeable improvement. Worth the spend.”

“Thank you Upscale & Kevin that made this Brimar tubes available again..The tube gods really bless us..:) Unexpected amazing results when I installed these 12AU7 Brimar tubes replacing my Rouge CM3 preamp tubes in the center row position on all three of them.. Previously one of 12AU7 tube in the center position was my older Brimar and to its left and right were Gold Lions while leaving the two 12AX7 JJ stock tubes in front row...and it was all good already..until I replaced all the three 12AU7 tubes with the Brimars. The sound transforms into a richer and more holographic 3D with huge soundstage. It was like injecting a steroid. Bass feels more powerful and deeper with grunt at lower frequencies..It is like having a completely different amplifier. Most of my cd collections and downloaded itunes came alive with unbelievable realism and detailed without harshness with good recordings. Notes and instruments sustained more. They presented a sense of 3 dimensional space, air and nuance as well as refine micro detail highs. Believable liquid mids and vocal as if the singer is in the room.. Highly recommended.”
