“I have been an audiophile for a number of years now with mostly solid state integrated amps at the heart of my systems. A few years back I got the courage to try a tube integrated amp, a Prima Luna prologue because it did not have to be biased or touched as it was self biasing with bad tube recognition. I thought this could work for me and take my fear of tube equipment and not knowing if a tube was going or needed biasing. When I took the plunge and bought the Prima Luna Integrated amp. What an eye opening experience. Low and behold out of this amp came sound that was smooth and easy to listen to. A couple of years later I decided to start rolling tubes again what a difference out of my speakers came better sound. What made me consider trying a tube integrated was the reviews of tube integrated amps in the different Audio magazines that I read which constantly rated Prima Luna as top equipment but well priced. Hand made done the way things used to be. Now a few years later I read reviews about a new High Performance amp from Prima Luna the Dialogue HP integrated Amp able to take KT 150 and have increased power. Sold my first Prima Luna amp for a fair price in 1 day, I guess people are starting to see the great value of these ptoducts. Bought the new Dialogue HP and let me say IMO this is an increadable value for a product of this quality. It has a sound that is absolutely delectable with great texture, musicality and a warmth that is enveloping yet not bloated with crisp clear highs. I tube rolled once again with the help of Kevin and Jarrod with KT 150's and Brimar's absolutely stunning it actually made my Monitor Audio speakers go to another level. Take my word for this you will not regret working with the team at Upscale Audio if you want to listen to beautiful sound through great and reasonably priced equipment they are the best to deal with. Kevin actually answers the phone, great service and advice with no BS.”

“I have recently upgraded my Primaluna integrated amp to the HP, I wanted more power and a headphone amp in my system. After several conversation with Kevin and countless hours online I decided to buy the unit and take the plunge.. I was already spoiled with the previous Primaluna, however the HP takes you to another level. The notorious midrange excellence was there, with the addition of stronger bass and a bit more air on the top, I cannot wait to finish the "break in" period to fully enjoy it. I am a big admirer of ingenious human realizations. from a clever bottle opener to a superlatively complex mechanical watch, this HP is a masterful piece of engineering conceived for music lovers. As audiophile I like my equipment but I love music, with the HP I fulfill both lusts. Thank you Kevin”

“Hands down, this HP is the best piece of gear I have ever heard. I thought my Primaluna prologue 3 preamp and 5 amp were truly unbeatable. I spent a lot of NOS tubes and many other upgrades on them. They had zero issues, and so I wanted to honestly keep them forever. But this HP was on the top of my list for over a year, and due to recent foot surgery, I had to have a remote. Long story short I splurged on the HP, and out of the box is was much more dynamic than the prologue 3 and 5. The stock el34s are truly incredible!!! competely stock is sounds so good I am not touching any of the stock tubes I have ready and waiting! This HP integrated is a living, breathing, monster. I've never heard such extreme dynamics, and now after 2 days of breakin, the micro dynamics are really coming into play, along with incredible bass, and airy highs that truly go on forever, probably my favorite improvent!! I could not be happier. This is THE giant killer, I have never used that term before now, it makes sense why so many are leaving their trusted brand names for PrimaLuna. I have never heard an integrated, or any separate system, sound this real. You get nothing but pure live soung, oh yeah and TONS of power for my hungry ATCs! Thank you all at Upscale for all your help! Thank you Kevin and Herman for making the impossible, possible. You give the hifi world exactly what it needs!”

“I am in the process of breaking in the Dialogue HP. What a fun product. Thanks to Kevin for his thoughtful recommendation. The Prima Luna product is incredibly well built - even the remote. It is fun switching with the remote between triode and ultra linear modes. The human engineering is exceptional. I am able to drive Avalon speakers with no problem. And, they sound really good.”

“Life changer. This thing makes something that actually sounds like a SOUND, rather than the kind of electric sound that I've gotten from a dozen other expensive solid state amps. Like, whatever it is that was recorded, comes out into the air like an actual sound, rather than an electric signal or something. Obviously this is hard to describe. Let me put it this way, I found myself dancing around when I put my favs on. And that hasn't happened for 10 years! So, yeah, I love it.”

“Have had my new PrimaLuna Dialogue Premium HP Integrated for almost 2 weeks now. I listen to it every evening for primarily vinyl playback, and also the Home Theater (HT) mode for my blu ray viewing pleasure. This wonderful amplifier sounds like no other that I have had in my system. Truly worth the money and the hype that it has received. Just read the incredible review in Stereophile magazine if you want some exact particulars and specs. Incredible - money well spent at Upscale Audio. I am currently using it to power my MartinLogan Theos and it is very impressive. Thank you Kevin Deal for taking the time to speak with me about this unit.”
