“I have had my Dialogue Premium integrated amp for just over five years and I am here to tell you that it continues to dazzle me and stand the test of time. From an ergonomic standpoint, I love the remote control and the ability to switch between ultra linear mode and triode mode on-the-fly. I mostly listen to records, and Kevin's comments about using the triode mode to smooth out harsher recordings is spot on. The ability to sit back and use the remote to switch back and forth in real-time adds greatly to my listening enjoyment, and that lush triode mode has me pulling out and enjoying records that I had previously relegated to the "unlistenable" pile. From a sound perspective, this integrated amp is both musical and detailed with the OEM EL34 tubes. While I have tried KT88 and KT120 tubes and I appreciate some of the extra bass and dynamic range, I always find myself coming back to those wonderful EL34s. This unit with those EL34s is just so damn delightful! After five years of critical listening, this is the only component in my system that I have no temptation to upgrade or replace. The build and component quality used in this unit is astounding, and I have to wonder how PrimaLuna makes a profit on this beauty. As an engineer by training, I greatly appreciate audio components that focus on the basics rather than the gimmicks, and PrimaLuna has definitely nailed down the basics with this unit in a manner that is both technically rock-solid and artfully sublime.”

“I recently bought a Dialouge Integrated amp to replace another integrated tube amp that was 100 WPC. I was concerned about the lower power, but the Dialogue is as an amazing upgrade and drives my Tannoy Kensington GR's to high levels effortlessly in a large listening room. It has a true tube sound and the Triode mode is great for some older LP records. I was out go high end Stereo for a few years. My last system had a Mark Levinson 334 amp and 380S preamp and the PrimLuna sounds every bit as good, if not better. Thanks Kevin!”

“I have always been a "solid state" kind of guy. People can change! As a growing discerning music listener, I have always wanted to take a walk on the wild side and see what was all the fuss about tubes. I set up a review time at Upscale Audio and armed with my favourite demo CD's prepared myself to be inducted into the world of tubes. The sales staff at Upscale Audio were patient, helpful and at all times, I felt that their ultimate goal was for me the customer, to be utterly happy with my purchase. I had read multiple reviews of Primaluna components and felt that I had a basic grasp of the kind of the high-quality components that they produce. One only has to get up close and personal with all the Primaluna components to see just what quality looks and feels like. Kat Ourlian (Upscale Audio Majikat Sales Person) began our demo. To cut a long story short, after Dire Straits, Thomas Tallis, Mclaughlin-De Lucia-Dimeola, Nat King Cole, Mozart, Beethoven, Jethro Tull etc, the Primaluna Dialogue Premium stood up, slapped me roughly about the ears and threatened to do me some major damage unless I took her home with me. Her logic was simple. Ari, she said, you deserve to hear sound this great! Its been almost 3 months now, and we are constantly together. where had she been all my life??!!! I find myself sharing music with her at every opportunity and so far have never been disappointed. If you love music, you just have to buy one and see and hear for yourself! (Thanks MajiKat!)”

“I bought the Classic, the cheapest integrated - and I bought that used for a grand. The amp sounds just great and all I can think about is getting the monoblocks or the best integrated from PrimaLuna. So, I’m looking to trade mine in on the next step up inPrimaLunaLand. They must sound better.”

“Upscale audio has become my prime source of audio equipment and tubes. I like being able to work with Kevin who I trust will give me great advice to help me meet my audio needs. After listening to Kevin's recommendation I purchased this amplifier. I am thrilled. Paired with my B&W CM9 speakers and Marantz CD player, I now have the most fantastic stereo system that I could imagine. I did upgrade all of the stock tubes and that improved the sound. I have listened to other tube amplifiers, some costing far more than this one, and nothing even comes close to producing as perfect sound, as this amplifier does. I define perfect sound as a stereo that when playing sounds like the people playing music are in the room playing for you. It is that good. If the perfect sound that this amplifier produces wasn't enough let me tell you about an additional benefit. Kevin spends a lot of time talking about the quality and technological advancements in the amplifier. You may not think that is important, but it is. While I usually listen to CDs, the other day I was listening to some music through my computer. Something went badly wrong with my computer and it started pouring out an extremely loud sound. Before I could unplug my computer, this amplifier's protection circuit kicked in and shut down the amplifier. Had it not been for this advanced circuitry, I would probable have blown out my speakers. So thank you Kevin in more ways than one for selling me this fantastic product.”

“This is the best piece of audio gear I've ever owned. It combines outstanding build quality with wonderful engineering and superb sound. If you like the sound of tubes but don't want the potential reliability problems, buy this unit. It has been designed with all the protective measures possible. I have put thousands of hours on this unit with zero problems. You can roll a wide variety of tubes which is fun and alters the sound dramatically. It has 4 or 8 ohm hookups and although my speakers are 8 ohms nominally, they actually sound significantly better on the 4 taps. The bass is tighter and more tuneful. Treble is cleaner with greater transparency and articulation. Tonality improved as did top to bottom coherence. The manual suggests trying both hookups to see which one sounds best, I'm glad I did. Anyway, this unit just sounds like music instead of a recording. This unit sounds so good you will lose sleep staying up late at night listening to your music collection. If you want to stop listening to your audio equipment and start listening to the music being played through it, then buy this unit, now!”

“I have owned the PrimaLuna Dialogue Premium Integrated for about a month now. Words to describe my listening experience are: engaging, detailed, dynamic and thrilling. Kevin convinced me to try the PrimaLuna as an upgrade to my hybrid integrated amp. My system consists of a Rega P3 turntable with stock cartridge; Phonomena phono stage; Sony HAP-Z1ES digital music player, and RSL 2.1 CG4 stereo loudspeaker system. The PrimaLuna has brought out the best in all music, including vinyl, high resolution digital and MP3s. The immediacy of the drum solo by Ginger Baker on "Toad" (Wheels of Fire) was the best I have ever heard. The amp is a major step up to my audio system.”
