“I replaced the original set with these which are the same. One tube in the original set blew so I bought these to replace them and now I have three extras. The originals didn't have that many hours on them. As far as sound is concerned, I can't provide anyone with the usual audiophile descriptions but I very much liked the sound of the originals and didn't want to mess with rolling new ones in ... yet. I will say that Upscale sent me a nice set of matched tubes very quickly. They were boxed well and arrived fast. My next set of "different" tubes will surely come from Upscale.”

“I was told to use this tube in my mystere ia21 by a friend. Man I am so glad I did right from the get go bunch bigger sound stage I was using mullard reissue el34 which sound really nice but these eh el-34 in this circuit sound fantastic!!! Took this amp to the next level.”

“Order came quick. No issues with any of the tubes and performance exactly as Kevin stated, i.e. less extended bass with sparkle to the highs. The tubes restored my Cary Audio Six Pac mono-blocks back to their exceptional performance.”

“Electro-Harmonix EL34 no cryo These have an unusually sweet tone to them, which I really like. However they are tonally biased to a lean, treble-rich portrayal of music. If your system is otherwise tending to sound overly warm and dark, these might work for you. In most gear they probably would not be ideal. This is probably a good guitar amp tube.”

“I've always really liked EH tubes, especially their EL34 for most applications. For serious listening in high end gear I prefer Mullard, but in older gear like my Heathkit AA121 or any Dynaco, they work wonderfully. And getting them from Kevin I'm assured that they are first rate given the careful consideration Upscale pays to what they sell.”
