“My review is of the gold pin variety in a Cary SLI-80F1. The upper frequencies sound rather harsh and strained and in general this tube offers a more forward soundstage with less depth as compared to the National 7dj8's.”

“I replaced my ARC LS-8 mk II & ARC PH 3 with the Platinum Grade Type 2. All I can say is wow!!!, like entering the auditorium!! from the lobby. I have used ARC stock replacement tubes & also used "budget" replacements BUT, this is the way to go!!! Great presence & midrange @ an affordable price!!! Highly recommended”

“They are extremely quiet. Great mids and bass. Overall, a very rich, detailed sound. They rival a pair of Amperex Holland (not sure specifically which tube) 6DJ8s I have for sound quality. Thanks. I would definitely order from you again”
