“I got a pair of the Platinum Grade tubes and they sound much better than all the others I've got before them. My TA-20 hybrid amp has better detail retrieval and a larger soundstage with these tubes. There are cheaper tubes you can get and they sound good but these GE military grade tubes are on another level and even though they were $100 for the pair it was well worth it to me for the SQ improvement.”

“I have about 60 hours into a pair of gold grade installed in my prima Luna dialogue integrated. I have the tubes in the gain positions. Out of the box the tubes sounded Bassy and a little muddy. This cleared up quickly after four or five hours of use. Now I would have to say my impression of these tubes is that they are very transparent and colorless. I don’t hear them add anything to the overall sound other than to provide a cleaning of the window panes effect. These are highly recommended”

“This tube represents a remarkable value. I purchased the platinum grade variant and they are really really nice! Incredibly quiet, perfect tonal balance and tons of air. Due to the black background I am able to listen at lower volume levels and the music appears from nowhere. Instruments and voices hang in space with spot on imaging. I find these work with all music, from Black Sabbath and vintage Blues to Norah Jones. It all sounds markedly better. As with any audio product your results may vary so I will give a brief rundown of my system to aid in your comparison.
