“This is my second attempt; my first was wiped out for some unknown reason. After 25 hours I was not prepared for the quiet ,which was excellent. {Incidentally, I put them in the inside preamp spot on my EVO200 integrated amp.] And the bass impact was a revelation, and was no comparison with the stock tubes. In addition an improvement in sound stage was apparent. Second, I have some negative impressions: Vocals have become more strident,Why? I cannot say.I am hoping things smooth out as further break-in continues. I plan another review at 50 hours. By the way,packing and shipping was first rate”

“They really are nice sounding tubes. After running for a pretty short time they really did turn out to be quiet and they sound as good as any other tubes I've tried, good dynamic range and nicely balanced in my opinion.”

“I've been enjoying these wonderful tubes in my 7-year old PrimaLuna Integrated for well over 3 months, and I couldn't be happier. These little gems are dead quiet and work/play quite well with the Tung-sol EL34-B power tubes I installed about a year ago. The PrimaLuna has never sounded better. I do have one observation (not a criticism): The pins on the GE tubes fit *very* snugly into the 12au7 tube sockets. If anything I suppose this makes for a better connection, but do exercise a bit more care and patience when installing them.”
