These are fantastic in my Hovland Sapphire. I like EL34 tubes but the KT77 works wonders in this application. I have purchased many tubes from Kevin over the years; plan on doing the same for years to come. Great service, fast shipping, great communication

Have not used these as yet But have 12 pairs functioning for over a year in VTL ichibans. The tube is a good sub for the originals, cost effective and apparently reliable. Matching is really good and a nice offering for the price.

These are really great tubes. I use them in place of my EL34's , the one thing good about the KT77's there a little thin than EL34's , my power tubes are reseat in the amp a little so the KT77's give me some air and venting around the tubes for heat to escape.. They are very durable well built they look great and feel little exotic the glass looks like crystal and the labeling is sexy gold lions have a very nice tube glow nice to look at...the boxes are really cool.. First off Kevin and upscale do a great with the tubes 72 hr. burn in you feel safe and confident with the tubes , they hold bias perfect and my amp works like it's suppose to like clock work. The KT77's have good holographic sound and imaging and after 100- 200 hrs the tubes do come alive the bass is magic it sweeps across the sound stage. You don't need a 50,000 dollar amp to sound good these tubes make a low cost amp. sound great the tubes look and feel like you own a really expense exotic amp..The one thing cool about Upscale Audio is there in high end audio world so there going to give good stuff thats how I feel also with these power tubes Upscale gives great instructions on tubes on there web sight very helpful .. Thanks!!

I ordered a pair of Gold Lion KT77s via on-line. The system is very user-friendly. After my payment cleared, the shipment was here in 1 or 2 days. Excellent packing as well. My amp sounds smoother, clearer, and the bass is more extended (at about 50 hours) than with the EL34s that I used before. I am very satisfied with my purchase and will be shopping here again for any other tubes in the future!

I'm using a set in a totally modified Dynaco ST70 with a beefed up power supply and the VTA 6SN7 driver board. I sprang for the Cryo treatment for the KT77s. I can't say what that did for the sound as I don't have an untreated set to compare them to. What I can say is these tubes sounded very good right out of the box. It probably helps that Kevin burns them in for 72 hours. After just the first 2 albums the bass has more extension and the sound stage has opened up. Very good balance of warmth while being very detailed. Vocals are outstanding. I have a set of original Mullards in excellent condition. Once the Amp is well burned in I will do an A-B test and I'll do a follow up report. I wanted to try these because I'm running a set of Gold Lion KT66s in my McIntosh MC40 amps and they are the best sounding I've had in those amps to date. Considering the high cost of NOS KT77s I believe these are an excellent alternative. BTW these have great looks and quality built with heavy glass very similar to NOS tubes.

until now new tube production were not as good as NOS. But with the Gold Lion KT77, it's not just about rebranding bad product with famous name, but really a try to create a top quality tube. amazingly well built tube. beautiful medium and high, well balanced, and excellent control not too dry, not too warm.

I own two matched pairs of GEC KT77 tubes, which i bought about 10 years ago in the midst of an extravagant tube splurge. The Euro Phillips are the gold standard for EL34's and pretty much all I have used for the past 42 years. I mention this because i want you to understand that I know, what a good tube feels and sounds like. Im an old fart and ive been doing this for quite a long time. How long?I remember when the Radio Shack "Realistic" branded EL34 Tubes were Dutch made Ameperex with gold pins. Realistic indeed. Its one thing to rave about a tube after replacing some far east-made salt n pepper shakers with them. If your ready to rave after replacing a set of factory matched Bugle Boys, which you've had since you got the amplifier for a graduation present in 1970, then we're onto something. After using a matched quad of these for the past 8 mos. in a JD-202BRC I must say that the new audio-tube industry has reached maturity. Honestly I have probably bought my last Amperex or Mullard EL34. Why pay $800.00 for power tubes if you dont have to? Nostalgia is fine, but i'd rather use my money for other things.

the Golden Lion KT77 is like a brand new three times as expensive amp after changing from the Chinese EL34 tubes.....thank you Kevin, for opening the door to these fine tubes which simply present the whole audio spectrum from lo to hi with more realism than I have ever heard from my Red Rose Music system.....
