They look and sound great in my PrimaLuna Int Amp I did notice a slight burning / smoldering paper smell which is now starting to go away I was told by your Customer Service this is normal burn in activity You may want to mention this fact as it can be a little concerning in the beginning Best Regards Jim Robinson

Quite pleased with the Gold Lion KT88 Power Tubes. I have them in a couple 80W amps and they are very full sounding! I listen to quite a bit of bop and hardbop Jazz as well as Blues Rock. These tubes seem to have a lot of lower end and Midrange that I didn't hear with the previous tubes (Psvanne I believe). Great recommendation by Shawn at Upscale. Shawn has never steered me wrong and his wealth of knowledge is terrific.

I replaced all 8 of the KT88's in my VAC Statement 450S with these Gold Lions and it sounds phenomenal!

The Lion KT88 tubes are top-tier among modern tubes. After replacing my McIntosh tubes that came with the MC275, I immediately noticed an enhanced soundstage. The bass became more powerful and pronounced compared to the stock McIntosh tubes. I highly recommend these—they won’t disappoint. Expect ear-to-ear smiles. Enjoy!

I purchase this tube for my Cayin HA-6A. The delivery speed and quality from upscale is fantastic. I think this is a great KT88 tube and created a vast sound stage with great dynamics. It did very well with rock and dynamic classical music. I didn’t prefer it to el34 tubes for intimate voice presentations because it tends to balance the frequency spectrum so voices are a touch more recessed in the stage. So depending on what you want to listen to this can be a good or bad thing. For my tastes I favor the el34 but this is an excellent tube and I’m glad to have it to create variety every now and then.
