Hi Claudio, We apologize that you received a bad tube. We go way above and beyond by taking extra steps that include specifying the best tubes, testing them, burning them in, and testing them again. Tubes are old technology; rarely can one still develop an issue in shipping or initial use. We looked up your purchase and see that Steve is helping you get a replacement sent the next time you are in the US. He indicates, "a replacement for the bad tube is being sent when you return to NY in early December."

“They’re great tubes, famous for a reason. Great sound stage, very clear, not too warm or bright. Maybe the quietest (no noise / static / hum) power tubes I have used. I think the attention to sourcing and testing goes a really long way!”
