“Just got these for my Primaluna ProLogue Premium Integrated Amplifier, how do I describe sound. Very difficult but my first thought is MASSIVE. Crazy power, deep refined bass while still maintaining sweet mids. I think the soundstage has gotten bigger and wider even at lower volumes. I don't listen to my music super loud, but even at low volumes these bring quite a bit of definition and clarity which for me is fantastic because like I mentioned I do not listen at crazy high volumes. I was using Mullard EL34's and these better them without losing the tubey warmth and musicality the EL34 brings. I am very impressed and it's the first day, I cannot wait until these babies settle in. Great secure packaging and super fast shipping from Upscale Audio. Well worth paying more at Upscale for peace of mind and quality service. Thanks guys!”

“I a set of the stock KT88 that came with the amp, and replaced them with the Gold Lion's and I love them! They sounded more open than the stock tubes. I'm sure there is no science to back this up, but they even sounded like they had a tad more headroom and power. Subtle, but after A/B testing, I kept going back to them for this reason. I've read that they can sound slightly constrained, but I didn't get that at all. Given they sit out in the open, it doesn't hurt that they look beautiful as well! I also bought them feeling a high level of confidence that Kevin and the team tested these, and only sell quality products that they hand select. I wont buy tubes from anyone else.”
