“I replaced the stock JJ 12ax7 and12at7 stock tubes in my McIntosh MA 252 integrated Amp with Gold Lion. I am a classical music person and this amp won an award for playing classical music with those stock tubes. I agree, with JJ tubes it was very good; However, with the Gold Lion platinum 12AX7 and 12AT7. Burned in for 72 hours by Kevin and now with 60 hours of listening by me, It has risen another level of magnitude in every area. In short, this amp sounds magnificent: soundstage width, height and depth: excellent; instrument placement, excellent, resolution, much better. The high end, midrange and bass better defined, with deeper bass. I can tell you opera is wonderful as are pop and folk. Impeccably packed and received in a timely manner. Thanks Kevin, Josh and Cat. You guys have no competition is this area. Tony Molfetta”

“Just received replacement tubes for my Mc MA 252 . Shipping was scary fast , thank you guys ! I already love new tubes , wider stage , clearer definitely , so excited and they are supposed to sound even better as the break in!”

“I rolled two 5R4GYS tubes and four Brimar CV4003 tubes in my PrimaLuna Dialogue Premium preamp as well as two Gold Lion ECC83/B759 tubes in each of my PrimaLuna Dialogue Six Amps. My system has B&W 805 speakers. After about 15 hours of use, I noticed significant and important improvement. The most noticeable change is that the timbre is better defined, most likely due to better detail. There was also a bigger soundstage, better imaging, and better overall resolution. I noticed this improvement for jazz, classical, blues, and rock. The improvement was greater for jazz and classical than for blues or rock because timbre is a more important issue for jazz and classical (due to a greater variety of instruments) than for some blues music and most rock music. I'm very pleased with this purchase.”

“The best 12AX7’s ever. I run these in my McIntosh C1100 preamp and absolutely love the air around instruments these create, along with detailed highs, a luscious midrange and well defined-deep bass. I run these with Mullard NOS 12AT7’s from Upscale and find them to be a perfect combination. Highly recommend!”
