I would buy from you again and again. Thank you so much for great product. The GL12AX7 pluged in my preamps only about 25 hrs and sound is Zo000000000000000000000 good already. I can"t wait for 100 hrs. burn in. I'm rolling too many brand of the 12AX7 tubes and now GL12AX7 is my tubes for preamps. Regards, Iggy

Tried one in JCM800 4103, in V1, and got hooked. Outstanding performance and sweetens much more as breaks in. DSL201 gain channel, MM OT upgrade, sounded fizzy with all new tubes tried. Put GL in V1 and V2 of DSL201 and change was significant. Quieter at idle, ultra gain channel now very controlled, and very sweet after 10hr break in. Low end on the little 201 is huge now for added bonus. Traynor MKII dull new tubes, GL made it sing again. TH30 low end blooms even more without any mud. Albion TCT50 woke up and thrives in it's Brit heritage. Got another 5 to try in some of my other amps. They are that good.

I DECIDED TO UPGRADE MY TUBE IN MY BELLARI VP 129 PHONO PRE AMP. I HAD A CHOICE BETWEEN THE GOLD LION (HIGHER PRICED ) OR THE MULLARD. THE SALES MAN AT UPSCALE SAYS THE SOUND STANGE WOULD BE BETTER WITH THE GOLD LION. KEVIN DEAL TOLD ME EVERY ONE IS BUYING THE GOLD LION. I CHOSE THE GOLD LION. LET ME TELL YA! MONEY WELL SPENT ! ITS LIKE HAVING A NEW PRE AMP! THE SOUND IS MORE RE FINED AND RICH. THE ORIGINAL RUBY TUBE HAD HIGH WHITE NOISE THE GOLD LION IS MUCH LESS. THE HIGHS ARE CHRISPER THE MIDS ARE MORE CLEAR AND BASS IS TIGHTER. IT DID NOT CHANGE THE FLAVOR BUT IT ELEVATED THIS AMP TO A "KEEPER" NOT A "FLIPPER". UPSCALE USES A BURN IN PROCESS SO THIS TUBE SOUNDED AWESOME RIGHT OUT THE BOX! I AM A REPEAT CUSTOMER OF UPSCALE AND HAVE FRIENDS THAT I REFERRED ALSO. UPSCALE IS "ROCKIN THE FREE WORLD"! CUSTOMER SERVICE, PRODUCTS AND EXPERTISE IS TOP GUN! HIGGGGGHLYYYYY RECOMENDED!!!!

To begin with, upscale audio is probably the best source for high quality audio tubes in the business today. Absolutely no complaints and I definitely pan to be a repeat customer. This is the 7th Gold Lion 12AX7 tube I've bought in the past 2 years (from 4 different dealers), and they all sound magnificent. To my ear they truly capture the sound of an original Blackburn Mullard. They are transparent with a flat frequency response through the whole range, a bit on the "warm" side and extremely musical. They very well may be the high grade 12AX7 input tube you've been hoping for to replace the disappearing European tubes, they have been for me. That said, they also have the one single problem the long plate Mullards had - they can become microphonic in an amplifier which is subject to mechanical vibration. I don't recommend these tubes for use in Fender combo style guitar amps, or in any amp that is going to vibrate - such as one sitting on your bass cabinets,or in a loud concert environment. There's no shame in that. The old Blackburn long plate 12AX7's had the same problem and they were/are the best sounding 12AX7 ever made. I plan to try a few of the Cryogenic GL's in the near future.

I liked these so much the first time around, I bought another set after putting about 10K hours on the first. They take more than 96 hours to break in sufficiently so give them the time before reaching any conclusions. I am most struck by their clarity / detail. Handily beats Mullards in this respect.

I bought three of these to go into my Vincent 236MK2 integrated amp which already had a nice sound. I debated for a while about changing the tubes, but after reading all the reviews I decided to go ahead. The differences I noticed right away were better dynamics and transparency. Of course a bad soundind record or cd can't be helped a whole lot. Over all I am very pleased. The reason for the 4 stars is that a couple of the pins on one of them was slightly bent and had to be straightened. Other wise all is great.

I had put Gold Lion KT77s in my Line Magnetic amp and loved them. These 12AX7s gave more of the same: I'm really not listening to how the hi-fi sounds. I'm just into the music.
