“A most excellent sounding cartridge and I am impressed. The shorter 25mm version (SB suffix) did the trick as I didn't have to modify my SME head-shell. According to Kiseki it houses the same motor and specs as the standard 30mm version but was specifically machined down to allow fit shorter head-shells. The only issue was the box label didn't indicate that it was in fact the short version and I was somewhat reluctant to break the seal. Subsequently I called Upscale Customer service and they quickly verified that it was the correct version was in the box. Anyway, I felt it was a little finicky to set up but overall everything went well. Nice stereo separation @ 35dB with a crisp, bright presence between 2.5 & 14K and a warm, punchy bottom end. I generally filter out above 18K threshold as my dog may appreciate ultra sonic frequencies but not I.”
