I've had my machine for 2 months and have treated quite a few records a;ready. The difference is amazing. The machine itself is well built and sturdy. It is not loud. The process to restore an album can be time consuming but variable upon condition of the albums, but the results will leave you in amazement. As I am writing this review, I am listening to an original 1964 pressing of A Hard Day's Night on UA that I received yesterday. I played it once before treating it and now again after and the difference is night and day. Considering the age of the record and the visible marks on it, the records is now as close to pristine as it can get. This machine works. Yes, it does take elbow grease and time but it works. I couldn't be happier. And the guys at Upscale are great, too!

The Upscale Audio edition of the Kirmuss Cleaner is a nice improvement. I have cleaned about 10 records so far and the sound improvement on some of these old LP's in my collection is dramatic. It takes some work to go through all of the cleaning steps but it probably is the best way to go about restoring these old records to make them listenable again. Don't use the old record sleeves, make sure you buy new anti-stat sleeves and new covers if you are going this far to save your collection.

Works above expectation. Kirmuss advertisers it is a record restoration unit, I does do exactly that. Using it is a little extra work but the is what separates it from the others.

I've had this machine for a little over a week now. I will say i believe that it works I've listened to some of the cleaned LP's and they do sound better for the most part. ( still trying to figure out the best process ) I run the cycles as per the instructions and after 3-4 cycles as instructed the surfactant spray and I get the toothpaste material on new and old albums ( 30-40 yrs old ) and it gets more and more apparent with every cycle. Im not sure about this. I dont know how many times I have to repeat the process to get the residue to disappear. I finally give up on the process. I have used up the whole 2oz bottle of sufactant on 10 LP's and the replacement cost is absolutely disgustingly over priced. ($80 for 10 oz bottle I think it was.) so to sum this up it does clean the albums but the labor and cost is unreal, I would probably not have bought this set up had I known what I know now. I can see why it is not offered for the money back guarantee like on the other items sold here.

The machine is well built and designed. I'm not sure about the suggested cleaning process. I got very good result without even using the special cleaning spray which is expensive to reorder.
