“I listened to a few similarly priced DAC’s ..Mytek etc Found the D2 to be a more relaxed experience ..DO NOT take that as IT is not capable of very nuanced ..or NoT revealing ..IT IS .. i got the Sbooster external power supply with the kit to install it myself ..takes no more than 25 min ..even at an extremely slow and careful pace It is a worth while upgrade It takes awhile to really be its best ..let it run 24/7 for 3 days before making any critical decision about how it sounds in your system It replaced a Node 28 ..my first Streamer DAC ..huge difference in sound quality !”
