“Remote functions flawlessly and is built beautifully with glass front and back panels and aluminum frame. I installed it and then started my Lumin and the remote was quickly recognized and functional. As others mention it is quite long and as such it is not easy to access all controls without repositioning your hand on the remote. My primary use is for volume control and the buttons for this are high up on the remote making it difficult to pick up the remote off the table and adjust volumn without repositioning it in your hand. I like listening in a dimly lit room and the remote functions are difficult to see when dark as it is not illuminated. The battery compartment uses magnets to hold it closed which works fine by itself and comes with a screw to further insure the compartment cover does not come off. As nicely as this remote is made the screw for my cover does not sit fully flush with the cover which is annoying when placed on a flat surface. For this reason I have left the screw out on mine as the magnets retain the cover adequately. Still I like it for the convenience of not having to unlock / wake up my iPad, and go to the Lumin app and then adjust the volume by pressing the volume icon and then adjusting the volume slider followed by selecting another place on the Lumin app to close the slider control. As an engineer I am very picky but this remote is still the option I know of. If you are using your only usb port on your Lumin this remote requires it to be used for the infrared receiver so consider this before purchasing. I hope this helps.”

“Worth the money. High build quality, easy to set up and use. 4 stars since the remote could be an inch wider and less long but the controls are fairly easy to access and much better than using Roon or LUMIN apps volume sliders.”

“I recently purchased a LUMIN T-2 and the remote to run the system direct to the power amplifier, using the leedhs volume,(trust me, if not running your LUMIN direct, your missing out on some musical magic). As far as the remote, I really can’t say that I like it. Yes, it is really a handsome piece, but I find it not to be user friendly. I would have been happy with something like a small brushed aluminum remote, with buttons you can feel. But it does serve the purpose. One last little complaint, don’t even look at it, you will leave finger prints!”
