Haven't really figured out how to use all it's functions yet. But I really like using the unit even though it's only being used in a very basic way. Would love how to use all it features and functions better but haven't been able to get a hold of Lumin Suppot or assistance from Upscale Audio yet.

Beautiful piece. Great build quality. Sound and performance at this price is amazingly detailed and musical. This has replaced my Auralic Aries and Vega combination. They were very enjoyable but this piece is on another level.

I recently upgraded my LUMIN D2 to the T2. I waited a fair amount of time for burn in and personal adjustment to the presentation,(I’ve been playing with and listening to hi-end audio audio for around 50yrs and the hobby still amazes me some times). First of all, the T2 is drop dead beautiful, and the fit and finish is as perfect as it gets, my kind of audio. Like I said, they really need a lot of burn in before they show there sonic quality. I’m going on about 6 weeks and just earlier today it was catching my attention with audio class. A person can really get caught up with are sonic check list, the end result is the product as a whole. The LUMIN T2 ls .beautiful, transparent, well balanced presentation and simple to use. No it’s not inexpensive for most of us, but worth every bit of it’s cost. And what you get for free!!! Leedhs volume processing. I’m telling you, this volume system just isn’t great, it’s fabulous. Running these LUMINs direct using Leedhs brings you just that much closer to the music. I love my T2 and the Leedhs. I want to thank the staff and my friends at upscale audio for making things possible!

I was blown away with the LUMIN T2 presentation out of the box -- very smooth, musical, and analogue sounding DAC/Streamer. The upgraded linear power supply, Sbooster further the overall performance of this already excellent player. The LUMIN App is quite good but ROON is better. With the addition of this LUMIN T2 for months now, I no longer listen to my long reference $8K CD player. I have no prior knowledge of LUMIN products until I spoke with “Ash” at Uspscale!

The Lumin T2 is simply amazing in sound quality. I traded in a PS Audio Directstream Junior DAC for the T2. When I initially hooked up the T2 it didn't sound very good. After 30 minutes it sounded a lot better. I had expectations that it would take about 200 hours of use for the T2 to fully burn in. After running the T2 continuously for 8 days via the Roon Radio function, it sounded slightly better than the PS Audio DAC. At that point I was unsure if the T2 was worth purchasing for me. With another 50 hours of use the T2 was significantly better than the PS Audio DAC. Setup of the T2 was very easy. I have a Synology DS718+ for my NAS. Installing Minimserver and setting it up was easy. The only weak point in the T2 is the Lumin App. I did not find it to be very intuitive but after a couple of days I became proficient at using it. The App does lock up occasionally but that may be because I am using a Samsung Chromebook Plus V2 with LTE for my tablet. Most but not all android apps work on Chromebook and the Lumin App may be one of those that doesn't work really well on a Chromebook. If the only way to use the T2 were the Android App this product would not get 5 stars. I intend to use it almost exclusively with Roon so that is not a big concern to me.
