“I love my little silver box! Have Salk Silk monitorss, Schiit DAC, Roon streaming and Lumin makes sound fabulous. Upscale guys were super helpful as well.”

“This product is a total game changer. USB from computer can't come close to the incredible sound this unit delivers. What did I get? Well, MORE! More what? How about tighter more detailed bass. Sweeter more detailed highs. Incredible detail across the board. Deeper wider soundstage. Improved richness to tone. And the AIR, oh the friggin air. Just wonderful! The Lumin sounded great out of the box but improved at 70-100 hours. Now, at god knows how many hours, it continues to get better, much better! I'm totally floored. Sincere thanks to Joel and Kevin”

“Simply put I am loving my Lumin U1 Mini with Sbooster. Sound quality is superb and the unit functions flawlessly. I am a long time audiophile and have owned lots of high-end audio gear but I was a bit nervous with streaming. I was worried it wouldn't sound good and nervous to operate a streamer since I had no experience with it. All those feelings quickly subsided especially with set up being so easy. Roon works great with the Lumin as well as the Lumin app. I want to add that I am also extremely happy with Upscale Audio. They were helpful, reliable, and honest.”

“I originally purchased the D2. While excellent, I found the dac a bit brighter in my system than I had hoped. After a lengthy trial period, i swapped out the D2 for the U1 mini and an r2r tube dac. After a couple of months of break in and listening, the sound quality is excellent. The U1 mini does everything the D2 did, only better. Improved sound quality, lower floor, softer highs. Some of the result is the dac. However, the u1 is a better sound than the D2 using another dac as reference. I don’t regret the upgrade. I believe it’s a step above in experience. I highly recommend it.”
