“I am really enjoying the Lumin U1 Mini. The sound quality is fantastic, and the app is flexible and easy to navigate once you learn a few of the basics (how to add songs and albums to your playlists). The flexibility of the app to control the U1 is great, and offers detailed controls for each sample rate as to whether you want to play it natively, or oversample. I have primarily been streaming Tidal and Q-Buzz, and cannot be happier with the sound quality. The depth and imaging is wonderful. I am currently the USB output to feed powered KEF LS50W speakers, a very simple but lovely sounding setup.”

“A major step up from streaming from my laptop. Once I got the Lumin connected to my network, things went really well. The application was easy to get started and connect to my Qobuz and Tidal accounts. Not running a NAS drive yet, so can't comment on that functionality. I took Upscale's advice and ordered the TP-Link Wireless Access Point to use as a connection point for the Lumin. For whatever reason, that device did not play nicely with my Asus router and would not connect. Since my router supports mesh networking, I was able to just add another Asus access point (a bit more expensive than the TP-Link option) and make the connection. It was the worth the extra $$. I'm really happy with the end result. The Lumin pairs well with my Schiit Gungnir multibit DAC and PrimaLuna Dialog HP Integrated. The sound is smooth and fluid with plenty of detail, and works well with any type of music. I'm happy that Mike listened to what I was trying to accomplish and actually steered me away from a more expensive option. The Lumin meets my needs and I'm enjoying the results.”
